“Bremerton is my town. I grew up here. I’m running for re-election to continue to provide a strong progressive voice for my district, advocating fiscal and ethical responsibility and smart budgeting for the city.”

Leslie is currently the Vice-President of the City Council. Since being elected in 2011, she has served in leadership on council committee including: Finance, Public Safety & Parks, and Audit. Leslie also serves as a board member on Kitsap Transit, Kitsap Community Resources, Kitsap Cencom 911, and Kitsap Regional Coordinating Council.

“Bremerton has made significant progress in recent years and while I appreciate the steps forward, I would like to see a stronger emphasis on supporting  neighborhoods and families – there’s more to Bremerton than just downtown.” Most of Leslie’s adult life has been focused on supporting kids and families. Leslie worked in campus security for many years in the Bremerton School District, and she knows firsthand about the challenges facing kids and families here in our community.
“District 2, and all of Bremerton, is a work in progress, and we must continue forward with a stronger focus on the East Side and the Wheaton Way Corridor.”

We have made good progress but there is still more work to do in District 2. I ask for your continued support and your vote.
